March Care Package Event:

On March 10, our volunteers came together to create care packages at Central Park in Fremont, CA. These care packages consisted of pads, tampons, and other hygiene products. These packages were then sent to Newark Library on our shelf dedicated to distributing hygiene products! Products are free to take and are still available on this shelf today!

Washington Hospital Donation Drive:

From April 15 to May 3 of 2024, we partnered with the Washington Hospital Employees Association (WHEA) and held a donation drive in which we collected all unopened and unused hygiene products. We donated these products to local women’s shelters and to our own hygiene booth stationed at Newark Library. We were able to collect more than 800 products!

Krispy Kreme Fundraiser:

We held our Krispy Kreme donut fundraiser from June 12 to July 5. By ordering donuts through the form we provided, people were able to support our organization. From our profits, 50% was donated back. The rest was used to purchase products for our future care package events and for our hygiene booth.

Ark Donation Drive:

From March 18 to March 27, our organization partnered with American High School’s Acts of Random Kindness club to organize a donation drive. Together, we collected various hygiene products donated by students in American High School in Fremont, CA. We were able to collect products such as tampons, pads, liners, soap, etc.

Albany Library Hygiene Booth:

We officially opened a hygiene booth at Albany Library on August 21! Visitors could easily gain access to all sorts of hygiene products, including pads, soap, lotion, etc. Both of our hygiene booths are very successful, and we are so happy that we have been able to make products accessible to those in need.

AP Book Sale:

Starting on September 17, our Bay Area Chapter sold AP Exam and SAT/ACT Prep books to high school students in the Bay Area. Our books included Cliffnotes AP Biology 4th Edition, Drawing: The Creative Process, Barron’s 6 ACT Practice Tests, The Princeton Review New PSAT Prep, The Princeton Review 1460 ACT Practice Questions (4th Edition), Ivy Global New PSAT 3 Practice Tests, and more! We were successful and were able to raise money to purchase more products that were later donated.
